Objective:Small degree of intermittent exotropia patients with synoptophore convergence training, observe intermittent exotropia prism (33cm and6m) t in patients with he synoptophore training, synoptophore three grade function and a change of near point convergence, explore the feasibility of synoptophore training in the treatment of small prism of intermittent exotropia, as well as the training of intermittent exotropia patients prism (33cm and6m) near point convergence of the difference between the change and synoptophore three grade functions changes, for the study of intermittentthe exotropia standardized treatment to provide more reliable data, and evaluate the efficacy synoptophore convergence training in treatment of intermittent exotropia with small prism. To oberserve the symptom of asthenopia after training and the effect of point massage. Methods:Source of cases in January2011to December2012, patients received treatment in the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Oriental Hospital, Peking University First Hospital, two reference research units, select the diagnosis of clear small degree of intermittent exotropia of80patients were randomly divided into groups. Control group,21cases (52.5%) and19females (47.5%). Aged6to13years, mean9.4years. Treatment group of21males (52.5%) and19females (47.5%). Aged7to12years, mean9.5years.Treatment group treatment programs:synoptophore convergence training, selection of secondary picture card,20minutes each time, once daily for3months, synoptophore convergence training:use two picture card, children two financial units picture fusion at the coincidence point locking arm horizontal knob, the barrel to do slow convergence revolution movement, two eyes followed vergence movement, by researchers moving arm inward to separate the critical picture, the patient feels fusion picture gradually smaller, farther away and blurred Finally, two picture suddenly separated toward both sides. The critical fusion at the gaze intense training, and then to the threshold at slightly over5to10-20minutes each time,1day,3months. Monthly review, indicators of the degree prism (33cm and6m), synoptophore the three grades function and a collection of near point.Point massage including Zanzhu、Chengqi、Jingming、Sizhukong、Yuyao, ten minutes after training.Control group treatment programs:do not take any treatment. Monthly review, the degree prism (33cm and6m), synoptophore the grades function and a collection of near point indicators, a total of3months.Two groups were enrolled in degree prism (33cm and6m), the synoptophore Ⅰ、Ⅱ and Ⅲfunction functions and near point value.33cm the treatment group degree prism10Δ~25Δ, average18.10±3.82Δ, control group degree prism10Δ~25Δ, average18.10±3.30Δ. The difference between the two groups was not statistically significant, P=0.530(P>0.05), comparable to the two groups of patients enrolled in secondary synoptophore. The treatment group and the control group, synoptophore has three functions. The difference between the two groups was not statistically significant, P=1(P>0.05), the two groups of patients enrolled in the three functions synoptophore comparable. Treatment group a collection of point7-12cm, an average of9.88±1.44cm, a collection of the control group nearly point7-12cm, an average of9.9±1.39cm. The difference between the components of the two groups was not statistically significant, P=0.953(P>0.05), near point comparable in the two groups of patients enrolled. Using SPSS14.0complete statistical analysis, P<0.05for the difference was statistically significant. Each time point prism33cm,6m prism, synoptophore and the point in time of the1-3class features and NPC measure complete statistical description of the difference relative to the baseline. Between the two groups at each time point of each measurement indicators and indicators with respect to the baseline difference rank sum test, completion of the statistical analysis. Measurement data according to the data distribution characteristics were expressed as mean±standard deviation or median (minimum, maximum) for statistical description. Level data and categorical variables with the number of cases (percentage) for statistical descript ion. Conclusion:The research topics selected patients with a total of80cases,40cases of the treatment group, the control group of40patients, two sets of intermittent exotropia different points in time degree prism (33cm and6m), synoptophore Ⅰ、Ⅱ and Ⅲfunction and near point of convergence and other six indicators of changes in the dynamic changes in the four time points (3months) and different observation point in time outcome measures with the original index difference, start into the group and the difference between each point in time.1month after33cm degree prism:the treatment group8Δ~23Δ,average15.38±3.79Δ,control group prism degree8Δ-25Δ, average18.63±3.34Δ.33cm degree prism has occurred in a significant difference between the two groups, P=0(P<0.05).6m degree prism:the treatment group degree prism6Δ~25Δ, average16.48±4.22Δ, control group degree prism10Δ~25Δ,average19.6±3.82Δ.6m degree prism has occurred in a significant difference between the two groups, P=0(P<0.05). In this study, a small degree of intermittent exotropia taken the synoptophore vergence training, effectively reduce the skew angle, expanded binocular fusion range, to maintain a normal stereo vision, to avoid the possible risks of the surgery safe and effective method. Asthenopia could be found after training, and could be effectly ameliorated after point massage.
