一,The background and value of the thesisUntil now, the economy development of human society has experienced two significant transformations. Around 1880,the agricultural economy transformed into the industry economy and the petroleum, the internal combustion engine, the generator as well as the electric power disposition causes the society to turn into a complex industrialization society. At the end of 1950's or the beginning of 1960's, industry economy transformed into the information economy.Specially from the 1990s, with the application of IT as the leading high tech revolution, the economic globalization tide spread to the whole world by the situation which could not be suppressed. The various countries, society and the economy have experienced the profound changes. The development of the economic society is presenting some different characteristics from the traditional economy entirely. These characteristics has promoted the formation of new economic in the developed countries. The new economy is based on the IT globalization, taking the Internet as the main tool, the information communication technology industry being the prop, the globalization market being the foundation, the economic structure, the economic organization, and the economic movement presents the brand-new characteristics. The domestic and foreign economists call it"the new economy","the information economy","the network economy","the digital economy"and so on.The information economy is based on the information commodity and service, and the information activity or the information market is the fundamental unit of information economy. Because information commodity regarding material resources dependence very small, it displays the characteristics of public goods, including non-exclusiveness, non-decreasing and so on. Its value presents obvious perishable, and the life cycle of information goods is extremely short. Information commodity with different characteristics from the physical products completely, causes the information industries market structure to display some different characteristics from the traditional market structure .In the industrial organization theory, the market structure is the description of various relation mutually between the sellers, buyers and so on. What the market structure describes is enterprise's industrial organization environment, it refers to enterprises in quantity, share, scale relations, as well as the form of this competition in the specific market. It includes the merchant scale, the industry centralization, entering barrier, products difference, governmental regulation and so on. Fundamentally, the market structure is the concept reflecting the relations between market competition and the monopoly.According to the different market structure characteristic, the microeconomics divides the market into four types including the perfect competitive market, the monopoly competitive market, the oligarch market and the perfect monopolizes market. Four primary factors determines the market type: merchant number; difference degree of products; price control degree to market of single merchant; the difficulty degree of merchant entering or withdrawing from a profession. However, when we use traditional the market structure classifies and analyzes the information product market structure under the current network economic condition, actually discovered in these four kind of market structure any one kind of all is unable to describe the economic characteristic accurately which the information products market structure manifests, it both is similar to the oligopoly market structure characteristic, and the monopoly competition market structure characteristic. As a result of the technical unceasing innovation and the progress, the monopoly and the competition nature has had very big changes: The competition unceasingly breaks originally the clear industrial boundary, launches in the new platform; At the same time, the merchant competition strategy is also different from the traditional industry competition strategy. Although information products market monopoly and traditional monopoly are all established on the foundation of competition; in the information products market, monopolizes is not the end point of competition but is the beginning of next round steep competition. Based on the discussion and in the research to several related concepts, The introductory remarks partially has carried on the summary and the review to the main related theory, and has carried on the brief introduction to main research technique and research route of this thesis.First chapter starting from the research of the definition of information products explores the economic essence of information products. At first, beginning from the discrimination of the concept of information products, proposes the concept of information products in this article. Based on the theory of the labor value we carries on the value analysis and effectiveness analysis to the information products, and carries on the brief analysis to the price formation of information products market.Second chapter embarks from Marx's monopoly theory, analyzes the the monopoly characteristic of information products market and the origin of excess profits; Then, beginning from research of the special cost structure of information products, we study the economies of scale of the information products market, the network effect and the economies of scale relations; Finally, we discusses the main load bearing body of information products market - modulation enterprise network as well as the technical innovation network formation.Third chapter embarks from the characteristics of public products of information products, with life cycle theory, studies the competitiveness of information products market structure.The fourth chapter studies the dynamic process of the form of the competitive monopolize market structure of information products market through the standard competition.
