Empirical Research On The Difference Of The Level And Efficiency Of Chinese Industrial Informatization

Informatization level is a scale to measure the development status of information industry (and information service industry), which play important roles in comparing the development status not only between different countries,regions or industries, but also between different times of a particular country, region or industry. However, it is very diffcult to quantitatively measure the Informatization level. Great investment have come into the construction of informatization, and the infrastructure of informatization grows up very much. But it is not easy to find the inherent relationship between the input and output of Informatization and precisely calculate the benefit of Informatization construction. Scientific measurement of the Informatization level of a country, a region, an industry, a corporation and evaluation of the direction and benefit of the Informatization construction are of great significance in theory and practice.In the research of measuring Informatization level and Informatization contribution to economy growth, the great progress has been made in China at different aspects, but the research of Informatization industry is still very poor. By investigating the informatization levels, contribution ratio and efficiency of informatization in Chinese 36 sub-industries, this study aims to comprehensively grasp the signification and complicated mechanism of Chinese industrial economy growth, to search implemental ways for improving informatization level and efficiency and to provide some theoretical and practical guidelines for designing the strategic plans of industrial Informatiztion.
