China's car manufacturing mode, at present, is confined to the pull model system within OEM car manufacturers, mainly depending on the optimization and improvement of the basic mode of just in time (JIT) manufacturing, which results in the lack of coordination among the OEM car manufacturers, logistics providers and suppliers, and the high inventory of cars and parts, high logistics cost, low manufacturing efficiency as well in the car manufacturing supply-demand chain environment. The study on the car manufacturing mode and architecture in the car manufacturing supply-demand chain environment aims at exploring the appropriate car manufacturing mode, logistics control mode, and implemented systems technology suitable for China's car manufacturing so as to improve the overall efficiency, to reduce overall supply chain costs in the car manufacturing supply-demand chain environment, and to enhance the capacity for independent innovation and core competitiveness of the car manufacturing industry.Aiming at such issues as appropriate car manufacturing mode, logistics control, and implemented systems technology in the car manufacturing supply-demand chain environment, this dissertation has conducted a study on the JIT control, MRPâ…¡control of car manufacturing and its integrated control of the main mode of manufacturing, planning and controlling, and inventory management on the basis of JIT manufacturing mode and MRPâ…¡manufacturing mode by setting the target of supply-demand chain scheduling, synchronous manufacturing, timely delivery, the entire transparent process. Then the dissertation has constructed the car manufacturing APM-SC manufacturing model in the car manufacturing supply-demand chain environment, revealing its operating mechanism, business process and business scope, and the car manufacturing logistics control mode in the direct and indirect supply as well in the supply-demand chain environment. On these bases, the dissertation has studied and proposed the car manufacturing information systems technology and its effective and efficient implementation. The main manufacturing mode of car manufacturingThis dissertation has proposed a conceptual model of the car manufacturing system based on the traditional manufacturing mode, and has made a detailed study of the car manufacturing mode by JIT control, MRPâ…¡control, and the integrated control. Then the dissertation has made an analysis of the disadvantages existing in JIT control mode and MRPâ…¡control mode, and the advantages existing in the integrated control mode. Third the dissertation has proposed and studied the model and structure of car manufacturing integrated mode based on the JIT manufacturing model, in which the MRPâ…¡mode is used as the car manufacturing enterprise planning system, and the JIT manufacturing mode as the execution system of planning. Fourth, the dissertation has made an in-depth study of the operation mechanism, and planning and control manufacturing process and inventory management of the car manufacturing execution system in the integrated mode.â…¡The car manufacturing mode in the environment of supply-demand chainAiming at problems like the inadequate information sharing, asynchronous manufacturing, and weak capacity for timely security, and unreasonable scheduling among the OEM car manufacturers, logistics providers and suppliers, this dissertation has proposed the APM-SC model in which the scheduling, synchronous manufacturing, timely delivery, the entire transparent process dominate the car manufacturing in the supply-demand chain environment,revealing the operating mechanism, the business processes and the business scope of the so-called four points, three rings and one line mode in the APM-SC model. The model is of great value to the car manufacturers in the car manufacturing supply-demand chain environment.â…¢The car manufacturing logistics control mode in the car manufacturing supply-demand chain environmentCentering on the supply-demand chain and the car manufacturing logistics control based on the APM-SC model, this dissertation made an in-depth study of the logistics systems operation in process of car manufacturing, streamlining the logistics activities into the following five major processes such as the general cargo transport, transit storage, short barge transport, factory storage, on-line carriage. Then the dissertation has constructed the direct supply logistics model considering the suppliers'direct supply, the suppliers'JIT supply and the direct supply in the MRPâ…¡manufacturing mode, as well as the supply logistics model considering indirect supply logistics in the mode of short barge transport and the general cargo transport, transit storage, indirect supply by suppliers in the mode of fully distributed short barge transport, and tour pick of general cargo transport. Further, this dissertation has studied the distribution, transportation and inventory management of the car manufacturing logistics system in the in the supply-demand chain environment.â…£The car manufacturing information systems technology and its implementation in the car manufacturing supply-demand chain environmentThe car manufacturing information systems technology is crucial to the realization of car manufacturing system characterized by appropriate scheduling, synchronous manufacturing, timely delivery, the entire transparent process. Based on the above researches, this dissertation has proposed and studied the car manufacturing system architecture in the car manufacturing supply-demand chain environment. Then the dissertation has made an in-depth study of the following implemented systems technology and their core supporting technology, including the supply chain-oriented car manufacturing system architecture, the supply chain-oriented multi-level car driven manufacturing system mode, the supply chain-oriented car manufacturing system scheduling, the supply chain-oriented car manufacturing system inventory, transportation, and distribution, the supply chain-oriented car manufacturing information system platform, the supply chain-oriented car manufacturing system application in the engineering fieldThe extension of the above researches has enriched the following theory such as the JIT manufacturing, supply chain management, and logistics management, and sublimates the application of the traditional manufacturing system. Not only have they provided a new manufacturing mode of manufacturing cars, of controlling logistics and implementing information systems technology in the supply-demand chain environment, but also laid the theoretical foundation and technical support.
