Rural Financial Development Study: Social Transformation Perspective

Rural finance is the center of rural economy. Since the reform and opening in 1979, rural financial institution structure has improved a lot. Institution change analysis is a primary way to analysis social change and social development. The essence of reform is institution change:the inside institution change. Institutional economics analysis is a new perspective to social and economic problems. This analysis method combined theory into practice. Now China is in the social transformation era. Along with marketization, industrialization and civilization, the rural part of China isn't a homo-organ city any more. Old financial institution structure can't go with new social development needs and already became kind of bonder of social development modernization. So doing further studies on rural financial institutional change is necessary. Which can both advance country developing speed and good for building well-off society in an all-around ways.In this thesis, based on institutional change theory and social change theory, the author used Semi-structured Interview, Purposive Sampling, Literature Surrey, Quantitative analysis and Qualitative analysis to give a deeply study on China's rural financial institution change and institution innovation. The whole thesis can be divided into 8 chapters as follow:Chapterâ… , introduction. The study background, study purpose and study significance.Chapterâ…¡, study designation. Including the study methodology, study structure and study paths.Chapterâ…¢, institution change and social change. The author gave analysis on China's social change and rural social structure change in detail:decrease of traditional social, paths of China's social change, rethought and practice of China's social change, main features of China's social change.Chapterâ…£, rural financial institution change in China. In this chapter, the author gave detailed analysis on the concept of financial development, rural finance and rural financial innovation, reform and development. Also gave deeply analysis on the relationship between rural social structure reform and financial institution reform. By doing this studies, the author research the interconnection between social change and rural financial institution reform, rural financial institution reform and rural economy increasing, rural financial institution reform and new rural construction etc.Chapterâ…¤, features and current situation of rural financial institution reform. After analysis about the reason to rural financial development lag behind, the author gave the conclusion that rural financial demanding was on the rise, rural financial organization was malposition and supply and demand was structural disorder in rural finance market. Because of lacking of corresponding rural finance services, financial defects in rural economy, imperfect loading risk sharing system and weak rural financial environment, the features showed above were natural outcomes in China's social change.Chapterâ…¥, path of rural finance innovation. The author pointed that innovation of rural finance organization, innovation of rural finance products, and innovation of typical finance products were good paths.Chapterâ…¦, policy recommendation on China's rural financial institution innovation. The recommendation included:strengthen financial institution's responsibility to issues of agriculture, farmer and rural area, accelerate rural finance service construction, perfect rural financial legal system, clarify rural financial innovation polices such as facial policies and money polices. Further advance how to put rural financial reform, including improving rural finance marketization, perfecting rural financial system, rural credit guarantee system and rural micro-credit project implementation.Chapterâ…§, conclusion and discussion. In this chapter the author gave a summary of the whole thesis and put forward some questions for further discussion.
