The manufacturing technology of VLSI has being developed rapidly, and a whole system can have been integrated in a chip, the VLSI comes into SOC design stage consequently. The SOC technology has some obvious characteristics: adding and deleting function unit easily; shortening production design and exploiture period. It must be future main design method in 1C design world presently and later. The design and reuse of the IP core are the foundation and key of the SOC technology. The SOC and IP are becoming the attention focus in 1C world more and more. On the other hand, Bluetooth is a unification specification of wireless connection in the seven seas, in two/threee years, many country invest much more manpower and material resources, and the researcher's passion is rarely high, too. Bluetooth is praised " New Economy Engine" because of the facility and credibility in usage, cheapness and etc., it is the hotspot of researching and investing in the world. In this paper, on the basis of the two aspects, SOC methodology, system partition theory and IP methodology are studied, Some key parts in Bluetooth Baseband are studied carefully and their IP are designed in EDA simulation system. Some import results and new methods are presented. Following is the detail:1. A new scheme and the flow-process are given about the SOC design. The criterion and reference flow-process are pointed out about IP design. The technology and method on generating simulation module are given and they can be used in SOC design.2. The partition theory of graphics is applied in studying on system partition theory and it is improved on to fit SOC system paration. The wage function and restriction conditions in the system partition are given. The realizing structure of the modified Gas algorithm is given, and the general partition about softwareIII -and hardware of the Bluetooth system and the BB structure design are described. The new data process path in Baseband is constructed to optimize hardware resource when it is realized by the means of serial bit processing.3. Software IP of hop selection algorithm in Basband is designed and realized independently. EDA simulation indicates the hop algorithm can meet the design aims and needs primely.4. All algorithm of Baseband security are studied synthetically. The Bluetooth Baseband security system is designed and realized independently. And according to the idea of flow control, the implementing method of the kernel function Ar in these algorithms is offered, which is different from the recommend pipeline method, and a new scheme is obstained. The two implementing method are compared, theoretically the chip area, power dissipation and efficiency are improved 75% on. The conclusion is proved by results of EDA simulation and synthesis.5. To realize easily, the new operating modes definitions for the clock in Bluetooth are given and mathematic model of the sync_word building on engineering is given. The software IPs about the clock and the access code generating are designed. And their functional simulations are realized.6. Adopting the idea of control registers which are preset and read-writted by CPU, some software IPs are designed and implemented which contain access code correlator, credible packet transfers algorithms (FEC, CRC and Whiten) and the data packet Tx/Rx buffers.
