Study Of Chinese Urban Sports Competitiveness

The paper studies Chinese Metropolis Sports Competitiveness Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin are selected as the subject during the span of time 2002 to 2004. By the methods of the Delphi Method and Analytic Hierarchy Process etc, the Chinese Metropolis Sports Competitiveness is elaborated in the paper from three dimensions, which are athletics, mass sports and sports industry. An Index Evaluation System is designed for the Metropolis Sports Competitiveness in the paper, which ranks the Metropolis Sports Competitiveness. The competition is a contest process aiming at attaining resources by both or more competitors with their efforts, and the Competitiveness is the predominant capability shown in the competition. After having comprehensively studied the competitiveness classical theory and the Index Evaluation System, the paper concludes that the Metropolis Sports Competitiveness is a capability that a city attracts resources, obtains development preference, realize sustainable development, and then win the competition. And the paper summarizes the Chinese Metropolis Sports status from the existing sports resources, sport value concept etc., and induces the Metropolis sports systematicness and dynamicness.The second part includes Chapter 4, and 5.
