Aesthetic Ideas Of Taoism In Nan-song And Jin-yuan Period

With the insistence on the unity of views and materials as its prerequisite, this dissertation attempts to give an outline of the aesthetic ideas of Taoism in the Nan-song and Jin-yuan periods with a macro-method of studiesIn the introduction, the author dissertations the studies of aesthetics of Taoism in mainland China and makes a conclusion: it is important problem that we research the aesthetics ideas of Taoism. In this instance, the author selects the topics and also summarizes the whole character about the aesthetics of Taoism in Nan-song and Jin-yuan period.The main body of this dissertation gives a careful and detailed exposition of the aesthetics of Taoism in Nan-song and Jin-yuan period and reveals the relation between the painting and Taoism. This part is divided into three sections.Section One discusses the aesthetics of Taoism in Nan-song period by studying the aesthetics ideas of Bai Yuchan, Weng Baoguang, Jing Ming Zhong Xiao Sect. The whole aesthetic outlook of Taoism in Nan-song period takes on an obvious tendency of Li Xue reflected in its aesthetics ideas.Section Two disusses the aesthetic ideas of Taoism in Jin-yuan period by especially researching Quan-zhen sect and Zheng-yi sect and reveals the relations between them, thus outlines different and vivid speciality because of the influence of zone and culture. In the researching course, the author studies the aesthetics of Wang Chongyang, Ma Yu, Qiu Chuji, Liu Chuxuan, Yin Zhiping, Li Daochun, Zhang Yu, Zheng Sixiao, Du Daojian etc.Section Three dicusses the affinity between Taoism and Painting. In the influence of Taoism, the painting showed itself at the height of power and splendourphases. The aesthetics ideas of Zhao Mengfu, Huang Gongwang, Ni Zan, Wu Zhen, Ma Zhen incarnated the panorama of aesthetics ideas of Taoism in Nan-song and Jin-yuan period.The supplementary part of this dissertation makes clear the unfinished researching parts about the aesthetics of Taoism in Nan-song and Jin-yuan period. The author guarantees to make up the regret in the future.
