Improving the grades is the only aim of competitive sports. With the development of modern competitive sports, athletes are required to endure higher and higher load of exercise. When the athletes could accommodate the exercise, their performance will improve. Yet, sometimes maladjustment with the exercise will also bring some problems to the athletes, such as decline of the exercise ability, lack of capacity to recover and some kinds of injuries. All these factors will have great influence on the normal process of athlete training. So, how to better understand the mechanism of sports fatigue and how to shorten the recovering time become the emphasis and hotspot of current research in sports science field.Chinese traditional medicine is the treasure of the Chinese people and different kinds of distribution will beget different effects. How to put Chinese traditional medicine into use in exercise science field becomes a very popular research area.Male Wistar rats were divided into six groups in this experiment, the ingredient of the nutritional supplement are as follows: supplement A-gen-seng,etc; supplement B-gen-seng, medlar, etc. Exercise control group were infused with water and others were infused with the same amount of nutritional supplement.We use the animal model of sports anemia which was based on the crescendo load of treadmill exercise, and assay the modality and function of erythrocyte, energy metabolic and histomorphological changes of skeletal muscle in order to explore the mechanism of sports fatigue and the effect of chinese traditional medicine on the recovery of exercise fatigue. We also hope to find valid nutritional supplement drinks of Chinese traditional medicine to help the athletes undertake exercise training and eliminate exercise-induced fatigue.Results of this experiment are as the following:1. In erythrocyte and on the erythrocyte membrane the MDA level of exercise group is higher, the activity of antioxidant decreases. This changes together with some changes of structures of the erythrocyte membrane and organelle cause the significant decrease of erythrocyte parameter. Exercise-induced disturbance of free radicals metabolism is the main reason of the increase of erythrorrhexis. 2. Nutritional supplement of Chinese traditional medicine can decrease the level of MDA In erythrocyte and on the erythrocyte membrane significantly and relieve the high-load-exercise-induced disturbance of free radicals metabolism. In the meantime, nutritional supplement could significantly enhance the level of serum testosterone in rats, hemoglobin, erythrocyte count and hematocrit.3. Crescendo load of treadmill exercise can lead the increase of erythrocyte spur-cell and rate of abnormity. Also, this kind of exercise will increase the erythrocyte fragility and cause the concentration of hemoglobin to decrease. Supplementing Chinese traditional medicine can significantly lessen these effects. Maybe this result will indicate that properly-used Chinese traditional medicine will have great influence on the maintain erythrocyte structure and function.4. Crescendo load of treadmill exercise have no effect on the mRNA expression of the the F0 protein in ATP synthase, yet lead the increase of IF1 mRNA expression insignificantly; Supplementing Chinese traditional medicine can not relieve the increase of IF1 mRNA expression; Exercise can increased the level of gene express of GLUT-4 and enhance the ability of glucose metabolism.5. Gradually-increased-load exercise induced the injury of liver cell and cardiac muscle, properly-used Chinese traditional medicine is beneficial for protection of liver and cardiac muscle.6. Gradually-increased-load exercise induced the phosphorylation level of band 3 protein significantly; supplementing Chinese traditional medicine can relieve this increase, indicating that properly-used Chinese traditional medicine will be beneficial for not only the structure, but also the metabolism of erythrocyte.7. Chinese tradition medicine used in this experiment can alleviate the sports injury of erythrocyte induced by exercise, also it can increase the energy metabolism level of skeletal muscle, then alleviate the impact of sports fatigue, shorten the recovering time. Chinese tradition medicine can also enhance the level of serum testosterone and B is better than A comparatively considering the effect to the body.
