ObjectiveThrough prospective clinical investigation and collecting symptom of ischemic stroke at different time , we want to find some significant symptom for evaluation of curative effect and analyze interrelation between characteristic of symptom and NIHSS and consummate the system of evaluation of curative effect of ischemic stroke .MethodsThis research material comes from National Emphasis Foundation Research Development Plan(973plan)------ Study of diagnostic code and the system of curative effect of ischemic stroke by combining syndrome and disease( Project Number : 2003CB517102) . Through prospective clinical investigation and using questionnaire , we collect symptom of ischemic stroke at the first three day of falling ill , from the day to fourteenth day , at twenty-eighth and ninetieth day .ResultsThrough analysis of frequency curve of symptom of ischemic stroke and correlation analysis , we get the following results.White fur. When the frequency curve descends at 8 to 11 day , it means Rexie aggravates . When the frequency curve goes up at 13 day , it means Rexie relieves .Yellow fur . When the frequency curve descends at 10 day in excellence and ineffective group , it means Rexie relieves .Thin fur . When the frequency curve goes up after 6 day in excellence group and after 13 day in ineffective group , it means Rexie-Shixie-Tanxie relieves . When the frequency curve descends from 4 to 13 day in ineffective group , it means Rexie-Shixie-Tanxie aggravates .Thick fur . When the frequency curve descends in excellence and ineffective group , it means Rexie-Shixie-Tanxie relieves .Teeth-marked tongue . When the frequency curve goes up in ineffective group , it means Qixu and Tanshi aggravate .Hiccup . When the frequency curve goes up in ineffective group , it means Wei-Qixu is serious .Strong fever and gentle heat. Symptom frequency curve can be used to analyzed symptom for evaluating curative effect .(2) White fur , yellow fur, thin fur , thick fur and teeth-marked tongue are related with syndrome . Hiccup , apthy ,torpor ,dribbling, bucking , stethocatharsis. When these symptom frequency curves go up ,it means the recovery of stroke is hindered . Strong fever , gentle heat , drowsiness, hypnody, light coma,deep coma , extremity loosing , whiteness complexion , dizziness ,when these symptom frequency curves go up in special patho- stage of stroke ,it means the recovery of stroke is hindered . Other symptoms should be analyzed with related factor .(3) Correlation analysis hint. Cool drink, distortion of commissure, aphasia,dysarthria, extremity loosing, drowsiness, halitosis, dribbling, apthy, stethocatharsis, headache, gentle heat, and bucking are negative correlation to curative effect and the recovery of neurologic impairment is hindered. Symptom often appears in component form. They often have the characteristic of syndrome. This is related to the evaluation of curative effect by syndrome.
