The outcomes were NIH-CPSI, scores of various symptoms, lecithin corpuscles, leucocytes and TNF-α, IL-8. Results : The cure rate was 15.6%, manifest improvement rate was 35.6%, effectiveness rate was 26.7% and the no-effctiveness rate was 22.2% of the treatment group, respectively. Treatment with reflexology resulted in significant improvement of urinary symptoms. Compared with the control group and no treatment group, the was no significant difference in the NIH-CPSI, lecithin corpuscles ,TNF-α and IL-8 (P<0.05) .Conclusion: Reflexology was effective in the treatment of chronic prostatitis and could enhance the efficacy of the cure rate and manifest improvement rate, especially for those people with obvious urinary symptoms. And reflexology could increase the lecithin corpuscles in the expression of prostatic secretion while decrease the expression of TNF-α and IL-8.
