| Acute inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculo-neuritis (Guillain-Barre syndrome,GBS) is common in China. Many papers in clinical, pathological, electrophysiological, immunological and epidemiological fields have been reported. In recent years some foreign scholars consider that the GBS cases occurred in Northern China have many differences with typical GBS in the West. They suggest that it is a new disease which name should be "Chinese paralytic syndrome" or "acute motor axonal neuropathy". We try to study this syndrome with magnetic motor evoked potential(MEP) and other electrophysiological techniques.1. The study on normal value of MEP(peripheral segments)MEP was conducted on 70 cases of healthy subjects. The relationship between height, age, sex and MEP latency and amplitude was analyzed with multiple regressive analysis. We found that MEP latencies were related with the height(P<0.001-... |
