The study indicates that acupuncture combined point-injecting therapy could effectively alleviate the pain and of the suffered arms for the patients suffered from stroke with shoulder-hand syndrome(SHS). At the same time, this therapy could improve the limb function. The curative effect is better than the controlled group (treated by single acupuncture therapy) and the late outcome is more significant. So that acupuncture combined point-injecting therapy can well improve quality of life the patients suffered from stroke, and help them go back to work and society.In additional, the author discussed the mechanism of the point-injecting effect, that injecting liquid herb into points has two special aspect actions which consisting of points and herbs, and simultaneity, points and herbs mutually acts to each other. The final effect is more than that of two single-action adding together. On the other hand, the study suggested that Theory of Meridian and Points of TCM has special importance in clinical applications.
