| In the article of study, the researcher summed up and inherited the treated experiences who professor Ren jixue, a famous Chinese physician in TCM treated chronic ShenFeng (Chronic glomeailonephritis) by differentiation of syndromes, and 60 patients with chronic ShengFeng were studied in the clinical trials.Chronic glomeailonephritis presents as a progressive renal inflammation and up to 21.63 percent in the urine diseases. The patients with chronic glomeailonephritis will develop gradually and getting into the stages of renal failure in 2 to 3 or 20 to 30 years. The patients with terminal stages of renal failure are mainly caused by chronic glomerulonephritis, it is 64.1 percent in all pathogens of chronic renal failure. Chronic glomeailonephritis is characterized by a highly morbidity with progressive development and bad prognosis, it is threatening to health and lives of the patients. As etiology and pathogenesis of chronic glomerulonephritis is still not explicit, so in the western medicines, the treated methods of the disease uses mainly as taking a rest, symptoms treated (such as salt restriction, diuresis and lowering blood pressure and so on), steroid, immunosuppression (including cyclophosphamide, azathioprine, nitrogen mustard and chloroquine), ant- inflammation and anti-clotting, etc. Although steroid and immunosuppression may be response in the short times, the drugs have severe adverse effects so that it is difficult to patients lasted for long times.Traditional Chinese medicines was more effective than western medicines in curing chronic glomerulonephritis, it should be studying further. It took ancient documents as its basis, the researcher of article mainly studied academic experiences that professor Ren jixue treated chronic ShenFeng and discussed his distinctive theoretical system by differentiation of syndromes, moreover, the study also involved the clinical trial in the patients with chronic ShenFeng. Main purpose of the researcher lied in inheriting systematically the theories of traditional Chinese medicines and taking it as guiding principles of clinical and scientific researches. On the other hand, it can widen academic insights and enhancing clinical curing effects by inheriting precious experiences of the famous doctors of TCM so as to go step further to conquer the knotty disease.In the document parts of the article, the researcher mainly collected classical documents of the edema and hematuria, and modern studied progress of the chronic glomeailonephritis. It took times as a longitude, the terms and positions of the disease, symptoms, etiopathology, treatment by differentiation of syndromes, and instance ofprescriptions as a latitude, the researcher collected and commented on the data of past ages and expecting that it could assist us to recognize and curing chronic ShendFeng.In the clinical researches, it takes guiding principles of clinical study of new drugs with ('hinese herbs as trial standards, which was published by Chinese HealthyOtYice.60 patients with chronic ShengFeng were selected according to diagnosic standard and accepted standard, the patients were divided into the treated groups and control groups, each group were 30cases. All of the patients came from outpatients and hospital wards of renal internal medicine in JiLing TCM hospital. The two groups were not marked difference in the ages, sex, illness course and seriousnes (P>0.05).Treatment methodThe treated groups were cured with a series prescriptions by differentiation of syndrome who professor Ren JiXue treated the chronic ShengFeng, it included added Carp Decoction, Decoction for Removing-toxin with Clearing Pharynges, Decoction for Removing-toxin with Expelling turbid and Decoction for regulating collaterals and percolating turbid with strengthening fire.The control groups were given with inj.
