Migraine is a common type of the headache, which is the dysfunction of nerve and vessel, characterized as the repeated episodes of one or two sides headache usually companied with nausea and vomit. Patients burden of migraine during and between migraine attacks, the immediate effect of relieving pains has become a hotspot in the clinical treatment. Simultaneously, the long term usage and large dosages can be toxic to body because migraine occurred repeated with periodicity. Acupuncture, one of the most popular treatments, works as well as standard drugs for migraines. The curative effect of acupuncture in treatment of migraine is positive, and with no side effects. So, the treatment of acupuncture is recongnized and recommended by The World Health Organization (WHO). Here, we have carried on the deep clinical researches on how to make acupuncture play its immediate and long-trerm effect better in relieving pains.ObjectiveThis study adapted randomly compared researching method. Phlebotomy therapy of the Jing well-points combined with acupuncture used for the migraine patients. And in the study, we observe the therapeutic effect of the immediate and long-term effect in relieving pains, in order to provide theoretical basis for its clinical application.MethodsDuring the period of2010/03to2012/03. we selected60migraine patients who accepted treatment in Chinese Pharmaceutical Acupuncture Ltd. clinic, Hong kong, randomly divided the cases into a treatment group and a control group.30cases in each group. The treatment group treated with phlebotomy therapy of the Jing well-points combined with acupuncture treatment, while the control group accepted with normal acupuncture method. A4weeks course of treatment, and then recorded the VAS scores,headach symptoms scores and SF-MPQ scores. The therapeutic effect of the immediate and long-term effect in relieving pains had been studied.ResultsThis study designed a randomized, controlled trial. There were60eligible subjects. And each group30cases. Both groups of patients in sex, age and so on basic situation aspect comparison, difference non-statistics significance, P>0.05.1According to the VAS scores, the two groups before treatmen had no significant difference (P>0.05). After the treatment, the VAS score of the two groups were decreased. And the difference was significant (P<0.05). The result showed that phlebotomy therapy of the Jing well-points combined with acupuncture treatment was more effective than the normal acupuncture treatment in decreasing the VAS scores.2According to the headache symptoms scores, the two groups before treatmen had no significant difference (P>0.05). After the treatment, the headache symptoms scores of the two groups were decreased. And the difference was significant (P<0.05). The result showed that phlebotomy therapy of the Jing well-points combined with acupuncture treatment had better effective than the normal acupuncture treatment in decreasing the headache symptoms scores.3According to the SF-MPQ scores, the two groups before treatmen had no significant difference (P>0.05). After the treatment, the SF-MPQ scores of the two groups were decreased. And the difference was significant (P<0.05). The result showed that phlebotomy therapy of the Jing well-points combined with acupuncture treatment had better effective than the normal acupuncture treatment in decreasing the SF-MPQ scores.4The clinical efficacy of the immediate effect in relieving pains, in treatment group, the markedly effective was10cases, effective15cases, inefficacy5cases, the effective rate was83.3%, while in control group, markedly effective was7cases, effective10cases, inefficacy13cases, the effective rate was56.6%, the curative effect of the treatment group was better than others (P<0.05).5The clinical efficacy of the long-term effect in relieving pains, in treatment group, the clinical control was12, markedly effective8cases, effective7cases, inefficacy3cases, the effective rate was90.0%, while in control group, clinical control was8, markedly effective9cases, effective8cases, inefficacy5cases, the effective rate was83.4%, the curative effect of the treatment group was better than others (P<0.05)ConelusionIn the study, the comprehensive treatment methods can remarkable decrease the VAS scores, the headache symptoms scores and SF-MPQ scores, and the comparison proved the curative effect in the itreatment group was better than the control group both in the immediate and long-term effect in relieving pains. The conclusion show that this therapy has a good curative effect and a very good application foreground.
