The first step to address vital disease with comprehensive intervention is analysis massive and multi-disciplinary information, to produce suitable evidence meeting multi-disciplinary decision-making needs. In order to explore and practice evidence-based practice in social medicine and breakthrough methodology development, this study attempts to apply evidence-based conception and methods through applying bio-psycho-social factors concerning to the vital disease setting. Explore the possibility of using single-factor analysis model to analysis multi-factors disease with heavy burden.[Objective] 1. Exploring the feasibility of using single-factors, such as bio-, psycho-, social factors, to analyze vital disease with heavy burden. Using PICOSS method to formulate research questions in social medicine field:attempt to combine study design and evidence applying setting with PICO method of classical EBM to formulate social research question, standardized social medicine research and promote research evidence translation and application. To apply PICO method to discuss the feasibility and strategy of social medicine input EBP conception and methods. [Methods] 1. Comprehensive utilization of qualitative and quantitative research methods.2. Using PICOSS methods formulate social medicine research question.3. Selecting three single-factors model analysis the affect factors of a disease with heavy burden.4. Systematically searching relevant research database and grey literature.5. Strictly appraising the quality and research results of included studies with Cochrane Collaboration Systematic Review Handbook.6. Qualitative analysis single-factor model in social disease with heavy burden in according with the manual of Campbell Collaboration Systematic Review.[Conclusions] 1 This study suggests that there has feasibility to analysis multi-factors disease with heavy burden using single-factor such as biological, psychological and social factors.2 This study also indicates that it is possible and reasonable to using PICOSS methods to formulate social medicine research question. This study also suggests that researchers should use comprehensive interventions and strategies to resolve social related diseases.3 This study analysis the challenges and methodology weaknesses facing social medicine, use PICO methods formulate research question. This study also proposes the strategy of social medicine inputting EBP conception and strategy through comparing with traditional social medicine conception and research methods and suggests that it is feasible for social medicine using EBP conception and methods.
