Cervical Spondylopathy may occur at any age, and most found with people who older than 40y/o. Onset age in recent years has decreased. There are some features like high incidence, long recover period and recurrent. There are many treatments from Chinese or western medicine. Bo's Abdominal Acupuncture which is a new way to Acupuncture is researched by Dr. Bo Zhiyun. And we can control all of the body by the special control system.ObjectiveThis research compare the difference from Abdominal Acupuncture, Acupuncture and massage Treatment. And study in scientific and statistics methods. Compared with cervical range of motion, SF-McGill pain questionnaire, 20 score Questionnaire, Cervical disability index, NPQ and SF-36. I hope this research can let people know more about the difference of the treatments.MethodThere are 90 patients in this study and were randomly divided into the three groups. All data were analyzed using SPSS16.0 software. Measurement data between groups using one way ANOVA, if statistically significant (P<0.05), using Tukey's honestly significant difference to identify the significant differences between groups. And using paired t test and Kruskal-Wallis test to analysis.ResultTotal of 90 cases were outpatients.53 cases were male and 37 females, whose ages ranged from 32-58 years of age, disease duration was 3 months-60 months. Abdominal acupuncture group of 30 patients, male 16, female 14 cases, mean age 41.13±12.16 years, mean disease duration was 32.54±8.18 months; acupuncture group,30 cases, including 18 males and 12 females mean age 43.37±11.44 Years, mean disease duration was 30.69±7.64 months; massage treatment group of 30 patients,19 patients were male,11 female mean age of 40.27±10.11 years, mean disease duration was 31.45±9.28 months. Parameters of all patients before treatment had no significant difference. Clinical analysis showed that the three treatments were very significant effect, which went effective abdominal acupuncture group, the highest rate, the total efficiency of 96.7%, higher than 80% of acupuncture group and the massage treatment group 73.3%. Cervical range of motion of abdominal acupuncture group showed cervical range of motion parameters of progress of the more than 24%. McGill Pain Questionnaire short form show the three kinds of treatment can cervical spondylosis of nerve root pain in a very good therapeutic effect. Three groups of treatment to achieve statistically significant difference (P<0.05), the analgesic effect of abdominal acupuncture group was better than the other two groups, the effects of acupuncture group and better than the massage therapy group.20 scale, neck disability index, neck pain, and health status scale questionnaire results were very good these three treatment therapies, and treatment parameters among the groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).ConclusionBo's Abdominal acupuncture, acupuncture and massage therapy are three ways of nerve root type cervical spondylosis are very obvious effect on the nerve root type cervical spondylosis have a good effect, all can quickly relieve the symptoms of patients towards health, for which Bo's Abdominal acupuncture on the pain syndrome is most significant, is worth further study. |
