Eupatorium Adenophorum Spreng is one kind of harmful plant, which seriously does harm to grassland in China. If cattle eat it, they will be poi- soned or feel sick , So it is bad for animal husbandry. In former research works , we discovered that it conclud the active substance killing Aphids but havc no harm to crop. in order to use this kind of poisonous plant as well as prevention and weeding it, we studied the biologic features of it and in- vestigated the plant resources, inclouding distribution propagating ways and spreading tendency. At the Same time, we studied the laws that natural and geographic condition affecting on growing of Eupatorium Adonophorum Spreng. Tlw systemic solvent method and over ?all return method have been used for solvent selection and optimization of extract conditions. We found that EtOH is the best solvent for extract. The results shows that when pH 7, temperature: 70 ~C , time 20hours , rotate rate: 200rpm, the conditions of extraction was optimal. The membrane separation technology have been used for separation of extract mixture. The results shows that the molecular weight of active .compounds is below 1000. The low pressure chromatograp- hy and thin ?lager chromatography (TLC) have been used for separation and purification of mixtures as well as the high performance liquid chroma- tography (HPLC) have been used for purification of active substance also. The experimental results shows that there are S kinds of compounds appe- aring stronger activity killing Aphids in Eupatorium Adenophorum Spreng. We studied the physics and Chemical property. The results showes that the ?. se 3 compounds appear good anti-heat and anti-light property as well as good fat-olvability. These property supply good condition for research of pesticide. We systematic studied and selected the solubiliaers emulisifiers and stabilizator in pesticide and got the optimal prescription. The efficiency of Bio ?Aphidicide was tested in laboratory. It reached above 95 oo when it was diluted 2000 times. The Bio phidicide has been successfully applied to control aplids populations in Sichuan and Xingjiang. The efficiency in lar- ge ?scale field experiments reached above 35 0 These results laid the strong foundation for useful as well as prevention and weeding of harmful plant ?Eupatorium Adenophorum Spreng. This successful application will not only result in ecosystem protect , but also control the spread of the larmful plant.
