Human has stepped into information stage. Information acquisition, distribution, transmission, storage and exchange have become an important element of everyday lives. In this process, the urgent problem need to resolve is high-speed rate of acquisition, distribution, transmission, storage and exchange of the large amount of information. The present paper takes the object that to seek this kind of material which possesses excellent nonlinear refraction or excellent nonlinear absorption performance, because this kind of material has good application prospects in the all-optical switch devices, fluorescence microscopy, three dimensional optical information storage, optical micro-processing, optical limiting and etc. All-optical switches use the nonlinear refraction properties of materials, whose work principle can be described as follows. The control laser beam inducing the change of refractive index of materials, signal beam transmitted in materials will produce accessional phase change to realizing the "On" or "Off" of optical switches. To make all optical switches, the nonlinear optical materials should have large third order nonlinear refractive index and low linear and nonlinear absorption. If materials have large third order nonlinear refractive index, the power density of control light then need not be very high, thus reducing cost. If they have low linear and nonlinear absorption, the information transmission loss and the thermal effect can be reduced, thus enhancing system reliability and stability, also they should possess fine stability in physicochemical performance. All-optical switches can break through the transmission speed limits of electro-optical, acousto-optical, thermo-optical and micro electromechanical switches. However, in the aspects of three dimensional optical information storage, optical micro-processing, optical limiting and etc., the material should possess fine nonlinear absorption performance. Therefore exploring this kinds of materials that achieve the requirements expatiated above has become one of the key focuses of new materials in recent years. We have chosen the quite famous molecular conductor DMIT and ET series organic metal compounds as the material for our exploring. Some of them possess conductivity...
