A Study On The Township Economy In China 's Big Cities

Urbanization is an important part of the history of the development of human civilization, and mega cities in the development of a country or region plays a pivotal role. In current China, the mega cities has become an important engine to promote regional economic and social development and transformation. In mega city, towns connect the city and the countryside, gather a large number of population and resources, become an important breakthrough in development and transformation, important support for the development of modern industry, the main battlefield to break the dualistic structure of urban and rural area. A study on town economy of China mega cities has important theoretical and practical significance for understanding the town economy law of development, guiding the practice of economic development, and promoting the coordinated development of the mega cities, and the research content itself is urgent and forward-looking. Starting from the theoretical study, this paper analyzes the context of the economic theory of the town, and puts forward some relevant theoretical assumptions, and constructs the index system.Then taking Shanghai Pudong New Area as an example, an empirical study on the evaluation and spatial measurement of the economic development in the town of China mega cities is carried out, which verifies the hypothesis and discusses the development dynamic mechanism and puts forward some suggestions.Firstly the location theory, growth pole theory, the traditional center-periphery theory and modern center-periphery theory are analyzed, and then two theoretical hypotheses according to the town economy of China mega cities are put forward. Theoretical hypothesis 1:the scale economy effect of the town is greater than the cost income effect, with the precedence effect. Theoretical hypothesis 2:the town economy has a network feedback mechanism. At the same time, the paper discusses the design principle of the index system of town economy, puts forward four dimensions to mesure the town economy:strength, potential, vitality, efficiency. Then the index system is constructed.On the basis of theoretical research, the paper has carried out the empirical research. Taking Pudong New Area Shanghai as an example, the evaluation of the town economy of China mega cities was evaluated. The paper collected the publicly released data of 24 towns in Pudong New Area from 2009 to 2014, and made full use of government statistics department internal statistics source database, after a lot of data mining, screening, comparing and reprocessing, a unique set of basic database was formed, which greatly overcome the lack of public statistical data. And then the evaluation results showed that the scale economy effect of the town is greater than the cost income effect, which verified theoretical hypothesis 1. To study the relationship between economic development and spatial distribution of the town, the spatial econometric analysis has been carried out, which showed that Single line feedback mechanism between the center and the periphery is not only, there is also spatial correlation of development between the neighboring towns, it indicated that the town economy has a network feedback mechanism, which verified theoretical hypothesis 2. At the same time, there is apparent coincidence relationship between the towns, Among them, the comprehensive indicators have weak positive spillover effect, the strength index has positive spillover effect, and the vitality index, potential index and efficiency index have negative spillover effect.On this basis, with reference to international experiences, the paper put forward the dynamic mechanism of town economy of mega cities, which includes three aspects.The first, promoting the carrier innovation, determing guiding principles,and developing the fusion body to create innovative complex.The second, promoting scientific and technological innovation, building a new system and mechanism of Innovation dynamics.The third, promoting mode innovation, exploring deep into the city model, the comprehensive innovation leading mode, comprehensive function upgrade mode, the characteristic industry driven mode, ecological green development model. Finally, the paper puts forward some suggestions on promoting the development of town economy of China mega cities.
