The pressure of lower left pulmonary artery was 11.13 ± 1.51 kPa 3 months post-shunt, and the ratio of systolic pressure of the lower left pulmonary to systolic pressure of systemic artery was 0.67. The morphological analysis of the pulmonary artery contrast with sulfate barium-filled and the electron and light microscope were done which revealed the initial hyperplasia, medial hypertrophy and obliteration, even plexiform angioma in some pulmonary arteries. The experiment confirmed that the changes of pulmonary pressure and the structure of the pulmonary artery of the model established were definitive . All the parameters were stable and the duplication was good. The model had a high survival rate, which is suitable for basic and clinical studies of PH. | Keywords/Search Tags: | pulmonary hypertension, animal model, hemodynamic, Comparison, vessel, remodel, α-smooth muscle actin, proliferating cell nuclear antigen, treatment, drugs | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
