Objective:In order to investigate the biological actions of leptin with obesity, the level of leptin was detected and the relationship of leptin with obesity and puberty-associated hormones between obese and normal children were analyzed, and then the differentially expressed genes induced by leptin in HEK293 cells were screened by means Suppression subtractive hybridization(SSH) technique.Methods:1.Hormones that related to energy metabolism and puberty developmentalfactors, such as Orexins, Leptin(LEP), Neuropeptide Y(NPY), Insulin(Ins),C-peptide(C-p), Testosterone(T), Estradiol(E2), Follicle stimulating hormone(FSH), Luteotrophic hormone(LH) were measured by radioimmunoassay(RIA)while the soluble leptin receptor(sOB-R) was measured by Enzyme-LinkedImmunosorbent assay(ELISA) in 99 obesity and 105 normal adolescentsrespectively. Then the results and their relationship was investigated bystatistical analysis.1) The differences of leptin and Orexins, NPY, Insulin in obesity and normalchildren were analyzed by t test, and simple linear regression analysis .
