Chapter 1 Clinical Research on Lung Injury afterCardiopulmonary BypassObjectives 1.To investigate the diagnosis of lung injury after CPB in children by observing clinical data, chest X-ray , protein in BALF and morphological change of lung tissue.2.To explore the ventilator dependent factors after CPB, and analyze the factors affecting the stay time in ICU and in hospital. Materials and Methods1. Objects. All of the selected cases are children of CHD, who were hospitalized in Guangdong Provincial Cardiovascular Institute and taken operation supported by CPB from August 2005 to January 2006. There were 27 cases selected, 18 male cases and 9 female cases, the average age was 27.78 months, and the average weight was 10.21kg.2. .Grouping. Each patient was taken self-paired samples, samples were taken before CPB, when CPB finished and 120 minutes after CPB. According to disease classification, patients were grouped into two groups, group of increased lung blood (ILB, 19 cases) and group of decreased lung blood (DLB, 8 cases).3. Prepared solution for CPB contained with methylprednisolone (20~30mg/kg)...
