The Effects Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Anti-virus Capsule On The Quality Of RGH Patients & The Experiment Study On The Latent Infection Of HSV-2

ObjectiveThe Recurrent Genital Herpes (RGH) is a kind of frequent Sexual Transmitted Disease(STD) mainly caused by simplex herpes virus-2(HSV-2). Being its recurrences and difficulty to cure, it brings not only the pressure to the patients themselve, but also the unstabilization to the family. Long living in the shadow of sexual disease, the patent's quality of life is low. So looking for a kind of effective drug on anti-virus from Chinese Traditional Medicine is becoming more and more important. And it will offer a new method and way to the future clinical treatment and experimental research of GH. Methods1.Clinical Research: Select 40 valid RGH outpatients on trial by treating with TCM Anti-virus capsule, use WHOQOL-BREF to observe the score of quality of life of prior-treatment, post-treatment 3 months and post-treatment 6 months respectively; the evaluation of quality of life and of health status of prior-treatment, post-treatment 3 months and post-treatment 6 months respectively by himself. Also compare the average recurrence and cure time with prior-treatment after treatment.2. Experiment Researching: the research, we make the model of female guinea-pig GH by inoculating HSV-2 in vagina, then treat the guinea-pig GH with the TCM anti-virus capsule and Acyclovir respectively. 20days later, we make the model of GP RGH by inducing them to recur through peritoneal injection of Cytoxan(CTX) and local irradiation of ultraviolet(UV).
