| Hantavirus is the causative agent of HFRS. Some biological properties of the virus including Virulence, infectivity and antigenicity have great influence on the pathogenesis of the disease. The severity of HFRS differs caused by different hantaviruses with different virulence and antigenicity. It has been recognized that the hantavirus has a segmented, single-stranded RNA genome, and the virus with such a genomic structure liably undergo genetic changes. Because of genetic changes, the viral structure proteins may be altered, which may cause the antigenicity and virulence of the virus changed. Therefore, It has great significance for elucidating the mechanism of HFRS to study the genetic alteration of the virus.Until the present, many studies have been made about hantavirus genetic alteration and variation. Nevertheless, most of them were on the calculated genomic alterations over long time in nature because they... |
