The culminating hepatic diseases are menacing the health of human being now. There are millions of people died of them on the world every year. Only hepatitis B-virus-related culminating hepatic diseases result that one million people die. There are 25 000 patients died of culminating hepatic diseases every year. In china, as the incomplete statistic, there are two hundred thousand of patients died of hepatic carcinoma, five hundred thousand of patients died of hepatitis B-virus-related culminating hepatic diseases. With the development of surgery techniques,advance of intensive care,the application of new and effective immune suppression drugs and accumulation of clinical experiences, the therapy effect have been raising. One-year survival rate is on 90%, five-year survival rate is surpassing 80% in developed countries, and they are up to 90% and 70% in china, respectively. OLT have been the most effective therapy means to the culminating hepatic diseases now.Despite advances in the development of immunosuppressive therapy and the application of some efficacious antibiotics, acute allograft rejection and bacterial infection continue to be two major causes of morbidity following OLT. Acute rejection (AR) usually occurs within the first month after transplantation.
