The study on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) of fuxie theory shows TCM concern on"potential health hazards"proposed by World Health Organization. It is the main task to study the fuxie theory of TCM in this research through a thorough analysis and review on the literatures regarding fuxie theory. Then the Hermeneutik concept, characteristics, mechanism, healthcare methods on fuxie were concluded.This article focuses on the following aspects:1.A historical review was got through the analysis on what the literatures say and then a special style was proposed here on literature review. That is the historical events and influential opinions and conclusions were arranged in the mode of a scientific technological way.2.Then the literal concept and medical concept of fuxie were described on the basis of historical review on medical literatures as well as the linguistical ones. The linguistical evolution of Chinese characters was narrated so as to seek the nature of the characteristics of伏and邪. The concept of fuxie was compared to WHO term of"potential health hazards"in this article and we have the reason.3.As a result, the characteristics of fuxie were sorted, explained and proved with hermeneutik method,which might be a better way for the promotion of TCM and offers new way in the study of TCM theory. The three major characteristics of fuxie were the hiding, accumulation, dynamic and space-time characteristics.4.This paper has also concentrated on the influence of the potential health hazards in the courses of diseases. Three TCM factors as pathogenic factor, healthy qi and circumstances. TCM fuxie was the result of the interaction among the three factors, which made it the potential health hazards and trigger to the occurrence of disease.5.In the end of this thesis, the Medicare methods which were designed in accordance with the three characteristics and the three influential factors were suggested for the clinical doctor's reference. The first and most important is that this article offers new ways on potential health hazards and strongly recommends preventing before diseases occur.
