Objective: To generate a new kind of MIP-2y/GM-CSF cytokines fusion protein and investigate its biological functions. Methods: The yeast strains expressing MIP-2y/GM-CSF fusion protein at high level were constructed by genetic engineering technology. The optimal fermentation and purification conditions were studied. The hemotopoietic and chemotactic activities of MIP-2y/GM-CSF fusion protein were investigated in vitro.
