Research Of Application Of Brain And Blood Diffentiation To Vascular Dementia

Objective: To explore the clinical application of Brain and Blood Differentiation to vascular dementia(VD). Methods: We have analyzed the changes of modern etiological factors and the pattern of modern diseases to explain the basis of the development of the theory of brain and blood differentiation. Clinical cases of recent ten years were selected randomly and were diffentiated according to both normal differentiation and brain and blood differentiation. Then we used x2 test to test independence of each other and coincidence of syndromes. We adopt the method of Hua Zhuo Qing Brain to treat VD and demonstrated the clinical application of the theory of brain and blood differentiation by clinical and experimental research. Results: Brain and blood differentiation is practicable to treat the cerebral diseases and has the high coindence of syndromes (Kappa=0. 5338). Clinical research demonstrated that the therapeutic method of Hua Zhuo Qing Brain could improve the symptoms and intelligence of Brain Zhuo Bu Qing type of VD remarkably superior to that of control group and also improve other relevant markers. Experimental study proved the therapeutic method of Hua Zhuo Qing Brain could improve the intelligence and other markers of VD rats remarkably. Conclusions: Brain and blood differentiation has the advantages of easy practice and good effect and it is worth propagating its application.
