The Influence Of "Xiang" Thinking On The Formation Of Neijing Viscera And Their Manifestation

Viscera and their manifestation is the core of Traditional Chinese Medicine body of theory. Theunderstanding the origin and history of viscera and their manifestation and then recognizing essenceof viscera and their manifestation is great significance in Traditional Chinese Medicine development.This text systematically study history of Neijing viscera and their manifestation from point of"xiang". First, collect and analyze instances of using "xiang" from Chinese classics before Neijing.And summarize meaning, mode of thinking, method of thinking, features and model of thinking.Next, discuss the influence of xiang thinking on Neijing viscera and their manifestation. Explain themeaning and formation of Neijing viscera and their manifestation, expound the gradual changes ofxiang thinking model and the system of viscera and their manifestation, and relation with Chineseancient philosophy in a systematic way. The main conclusion in this thesis are presented as follows:1. Neijing viscera and their manifestation was formed from constantly adjust the content of thinking model under Chinese ancient philosophy influence. "Five elements" is main stream of viscera and their manifestation, constantly revise the content of five elements model under Chinese ancient philosophy, such as "inside heart appear at outside", "five elements values earth", "think heart as monarch", "harmonious thinking", "the golden mean thinking" influence, and important point deeper changing from shape to function under Bagua position map model influence, and viscera and their manifestation was formed.2. "Xiang" thinking has three influence on the formation of Neijing viscera and their manifestation. First, gave the way to conjecture viscera by using "xiang", that is, the way to recognize internal condition through external phenomenon. That good points are don't need injure body and can recognize internal condition, and surpass at entirety, function, movement, and can revice function of viscera if only accord with external phenomenon. That deficiency points are not enough objectivity, vagueness, tend to think that phenomenon is important and think that essence is not important too much. Second, classification and systematize. "Xiang" thinking make an induction from complicated human life phenomenon, constitute five "xiang" system. That is self-regulate system with mutual aid and restrict each other, and system with unify human and natural environment. That has function with time order, circulate, direction. Third, important point deeper changing from shape to function, gave Neijing viscera and their manifestation promnent characteristic of function. And agree movement and function of human life phenomenon, and decided develop course to think that function is important and think that shape is not important.Mainly bring forth new ideas on this text are described in the pages that follow.1.
