Based on the research of Liaoning Provincial arterial highway , this thesis analyzed reasons of the different asphalt pavement structure damaged, studyed the influence ,caused by the climate and traffic conditions, on the asphalt pavement structure of the arterial highway in Liaoning Province ,raised typical asphalt pavement structure which matched the actual of the Liaoning Provincial arterial highway ,and provided a basis for solving the problem of the damages of asphalt pavement.According to the climate characteristics of Liaoning Province, it raised asphalt properties PG classification standards of Liaoning Province, and for the first time consider the synthetic influencing coefficient of asphalt mixture of high and low temperature and water damage .Based upon the road surface temperature field of Liaoning Province, the thesis adopted non-steady-state temperature field of finite element and analyzed the acts and stability of asphalt pavement in high temperature, hypothermia season of Liaoning. The results indicated that load and temperature showed the coupling of asphalt pavement is the important reasons of damages.Established the concepts and formulas of season—correcting coefficient equivalent axle load , correction coefficient of temperature and equivalent axle growth rate. Put forward by the natural patches of Liaoning Province and season—correcting coefficient to determine the traffic load classification Highway, and adopted subgrade effective resilient moduli calculation method to calculate soil-grade division.Based on the actual of Liaoning Province, and give full consideration to local materials, construction technology, transportation etc, the thesis raised typical asphalt pavement structure of Liaoning Provincial arterial highway under different climate division.
