After being discussed of apply-field, research present situation and some special problems of the load-resonant converters, it is researched that the converters are used in high-frequency-great-power sine-waveforms supply and induction-heating load-matching.The method to achieve high-frequency-great-power sine-waveforms supply using PRC is provided. For simplifying the design and analysis, the Factor Q and k=f_s (operating frequency) /f_r (resonant frequency) are led into. After the relations of the Q, k and the THDV are studied, the conclusion that the required supply can be achieved by reasonable designed.The relations of the Q, k with the output voltage, output current and inverter operating state are studied, and the relation curves are given. Through synthesize study the factors of output voltage THDV, supply cost and operating state, the parameters are optimized. The design method based on the rating output voltage and power is given and a series of supply which frequency is 20kHz. As the example, the output waveforms of the supply that rating power is 5kW are given. The series of supply are using in the realize equipments and the good performance is proved.The other application of the load-resonant converters introduced in the thesis is induction-heating load-matching by three-order circuit.The number of all three-order circuit topology with induction-heating load-coil is 16. Six types of all the topology can be used matching induction-heating load. Three circuits which are suitable to match the load of voltage-source inverters are researched detailed. The main contents that are studied in the thesis are the load-matching range of all the circuits, the electrical parameters supported every device, the circuit sensitivity which the load-coil parameters are changed and switch-losses. The advantage and shortcoming of the three type circuits are provided. The conclusion is that the over-compensated is better than the less-compensated in the high-frequency induction-heating inverters load-matched.The two applications of the load-resonant converters that are analyzed in the thesis are important. Some novel analyzing methods are provided, and the conclusions are proved by the simulation and test results. All above methods have guide effect about other application of load-resonant converters.
