Distribution and coupling condition of seepage fields and stress fields are important influenctial factors in fractured rock slope stability. Based on the fracture network model , the characteristics of saturated seepage flow and unsaturated seepage flow are analysed , and the constitutive relation is established. According to the theories of fracture mechanics and damage mechanics, the damage evolution and cracks-initiating criterion of fracture rock masses are discussed , and coupling equation between seepage fields and stress fields is put forward. The research work involves several aspects as follows:1 The physicomechanical properties and structural characteristics of fractures in rock mass are introduced and researched, which provides a sound basis for analyzing the permeability,fracture-damage, and seepage-stress coupling of fractured rock mass.2 Deformation and seepage rule of joints and fractures are studied, and permeable tensor equation of fractured rock mass has been developed.3 Based on the theories of fracture mechanics and damage mechanics, the equivalent flexibility tensor and damage tensor for the jointed rock masses are deduced, and the effects of water on fracture rock strength and unloading on fracture propagation are analysed. The relationship between seepage tensor and damage propagation of the fractures have been studied. The fracture damage constitutive model considering seepage pressure is set up.4 Fracture network model of saturated-unsaturated seepage and its control equation is set up. Rain infiltration and unsaturated seepage characteristics are analysed and researched. The influence mechanism of saturated-unsaturated seepage on fractured rock slope stability are discussed.5 Seepage force acting on fissure wall and the influence of stress on seepage are analysed. The seepage-stress-damage coupling model is put forward.6 The geological conditions and rock structural characteristics of the rock slope where several landslides had happened are investigated. The physicomechanical properties of the rock mass are tested on-site and laboratory. The influence of rain and unloading on the rock slope stability is analysed qualitatively and quantitatively by using the theories and models described above.
