Sliding vane compressor is widely used in middle or small type air compressed equipment and refrigeration device of minitype air condition. Its advantages are simple structure; convenient manufacture, operation and maintenance; smaller consumed power; larger exhaust quantity etc. Along with the development of its application domain sliding vane compressor is paid more attention. The exploiture of new production and modification of traditional model are disquisitive hotspots in engineering field. In the article based on the research of compressor capability optimum models of the compressor capability were established. A modified genetic algorithm gived by this article was used in vane compressor optimization. Compressor optimization problems were explored in friction power and oil spouting quantity etc. The main works include following contents concretely.In order to make it possible for genetic algorithms to be used in compressor optimization modified methods to traditional genetic algorithm were studied. The main contents include: the study of coding mode. Hybrid coding model in which different gene coding methods were used in same individual was put forward. This coding method is more suitable for design variable with different data type. The genetic operators were modified. Crossover and mutation operators based on direction were adopted. Proportional selection and preserving super excellence individual were combined in selection operator. Recomposed and filter renovated operators were used in producing original population and make getting desirable original population become possible. In this way the astringency and efficiency of genetic algorithms was promoted. Restriction treatment method based on punishment and renovation was put forward. In this way difficult problems when single method mentioned above was used is solved. It makes genetic algorithms to use in restriction optimization more conveniently and promotes applicability of genetic algorithms in the use of engineering optimization.Pressure and heat transfer state of vane compressor were analyzed abstractly. The calculational models were established and proved by testing results. Through the analysis and studies on compressor leakage problem leakage positions and characters were presented and corresponding calculational modes were put forward; Dynamics characteristic of the compressor were analyzed detailedly and simulated by Matlab.
