Against to the existing condition and problems of this study field, this paper studied the bridge construction GERT model and Genetic Algorithms (GA) theory of resource optimization, and the optimization goal of the project time limit, cost and resource in the control system of bridge construction. Further, it deduced the stimulation network and the numerical method of GA. With the application result of practical bridge, it came out that it would be good by use these methods.The bridge construction process is the chance phenomenon. Working operation occurrence and its duration are the random probability distribution model too. Therefore it would be more coincidence to the project state. This paper deduced the function relation of the stimulation network node by the use flow graph theory, and studied the way to work out the procedure probability model and stimulation network by the moment generation function, and laid the theoretical foundation in the development of computer program. The GERT network can solve not only the project time optimization problem in making bridge construction plan, but also the cost optimization in the limit of proper project time and resource.Combination the GA with the GERT network is an originality inno vation in the bridge construction control. Through the discussion of practicability in construction resource optimization with the method of GA, the paper studied the GA's condition of convergence and the object function of unified assessment parameter. And it discussed the influence that renovation operator to resource optimization result, solved the two resource optimization problems in bridge construction control-resources smoothing of network plan be planted and minimal time in the situation of limited resource. Using the practical bridge as study object, it got that the randomness of GA avoided thecommunicated deduced process of visualized decision technology. Comparing to the traditional resource optimization method, it has many merits such as high efficiency, simplicity of operator and beneficial to the application and development in communication program.At last, by the use of GERT network stimulation technology in practical bridge, it established the GERTS stimulation model, and solved the procedure transmission function by the use of analysis, calculated the stimulation network time parameter with the help of derivation method. At the same conditions of cost consumption and resource accommodation, it work out the GERT network project limit time is 145-173 compare to experience time 190 and traditional CPM network time 152, the result agreed to the project. At the meantime, this paper established the practical bridge construction resource optimization model, determined the model parameter, and wrote the programs with Turbo C and VC languages. The sufficiency of resources smoothing optimization results fell down to 75416 at the 1542 generations, the minimum sufficiency value of resource limited time is 153 at the 23-30 generations. These results agreed to the regular of resource optimization.
