As a high performance servo-motor and high moment driving device- disk coreless PMSM, there are many characteristics of low mass, little volume, compact structure, little eddy loss in rotor, low moment of inertia, small electromechanical time constant, high proportion of torque to mass, steady running status in low speed in this motor. And it can easily be designed to more modules to heighten torque. As a perfect driving device, it could be used in many fields, such as numerical control machine, robot, electric vehicle, home appliance and so on.As one part of the national project 863(2004AA32G080), text concentrates on the design and integration technology study of disk coreless PMSM. Then prototypes are developed and correlative problems of design and integration technology are solved.To get better dynamic performance, disk coreless PMSM based on Halbach is proposed. The FEM has been used to analyze this motor and craftworks of PM and armature is studied. And to optimize the disk coreless PMSM, disk coreless PMSM with wedgy airgap based on Halbach is developed in text. The magnetic flux density of this motor is heighten to obtain better performance by alter the structure of airgap. The coreless PMSM with wedgy disk is analyzed by FEM. And multi-disk coreless PMSM based on Halbach is also developed in the paper. A lot of FEM analysis and the study on craftworks of this motor are done to determine the structure of combination of cell motors.Because of these motors' characteristics, airgap magnetic field of disc coreless PMSM belongs to 3D open field magnetic field. The aim of the paper is to ascertain the boundary condition and processing calculation result effectively. Smaller calculation extent is good for shortening calculation process and simplifying result. However, the cutdown extent should glass the field in the motor actually. The method of ascertaining the calculation extent and processing calculation result is summed up according to in-depth research and calculating repeatedly. And electromagnetic field calculation becomes a potent tool for optimizing design of motor.There are many differences in structure between disk coreless PMSM and common permanent magnet motor. The magnetism resistance of disk coreless PMSM is much bigger in the magnetism circuit. There are no ferromagnetic cores in the magnetism circuit except PMs. Leak magnetism circuit is very complex especially when wedgy airgap structure adopted causes magnetism circuit asymmetric. All of above increase the electromagnetism calculation complexity of disk coreless PMSM. The calculation method of the disk coreless PMSM is also different from traditional motor. Combining the calculation method of disc motor and permanent magnet motor and the result of 3D magnetic field calculation, the design calculation method of disk coreless PMSM based on Halbach array is summed up. Then the motor is optimized using the field-circuit combined method and the optimizing design rule is summarized. Lastly software for electromagnetism calculation is compiled.The field-circuit combined method is used to the motor optimization design. The design law is concluded and a set of software of electrical magnetic computation is compiled. At last there are many difficulties in the whole/half axial machining technics, the inner/outer rotorstructure technics, the fixation of the PMs, the rotor's perfusion, orientation and installation. Especially in the machining craftworks of the wedgy airgap and the multi-disc structure, the requirement of the machining precision is very high. And the special technics equipment for the machining of the disc motor must take into account. These are innovations in the paper, too.
