This thesis made researches on the theory of spatial analysis and the power system planning, the main results are as follows.1. The problems of the basic conception, models, structure and manage of the geography spatial data had been systemic studied. The research direction had been put forward with the spatial load forecast, spatial establishment locating and the network analysis, the three problems are consanguineous interrelated with the spatial analysis.2. The data model and the data structure of the power GIS (PGIS) are put forward, and the concept of the fourth dimension in PGIS affords a new way for the power system state preserving, comeback, supervising, fault newsreel, forecast and so on.3. The geography information spatial forecast model founded on Cellular Automata (CA) theory was put forward after studied the present theory of spatial forecast, CA theory and the city dynamic evolvement simulant on CA model, it has the great capability in deal with more interrelated factors, more condition of city develop planning, load history, surroundings and policy etc.4. There is a basic thoughtway to deal with the cosmically heterogeneity data and their fusion in allusion to electric power establishment locating. The theories of fuzzy mode identify and data fusion had been used in the synthesis evaluation process of substation locating in power system planning.5. The feasibility was analyzed abstractly that Voronoi dynamic spatial data model was used to solve the problem of new distribution transformers automatic locating and serve area self-distribution. This work enriched the theories of spatial analysis and power system planning.6. An improved AC algorithm by joined the little disturb maneuver was put foreword which controlled the process of positive feedback and the research area by dynamic adjusting the account gene. This method increased the probability to get the best of all solution in the process of network optimizing program and quickened the constringency speed.7. This work combined the GIS analysis theory with power system planning, promoted the development of GIS and its application in power system.
