All machinery motion is relative movement relying on its' spares pairs. Abrasion happened with relative movement,and abrasion is the main cause of surface damage,spares invalid,and material friction loss. One of the important step of decreasing abrasion is lubracation,and the old lubrication oils only decrease the abrasion of the relative movement surface following with extending its' using life. It doesn't produce self-compensation film on the friction surface and doesn't produce zero abrasion and self-compensation repairing effects.The article developed the self-compensation repairing lubrication additives which endowed with new function to old lubrication oils according to the theory of self-compensation repairing theory by aided financially from China nature science fund(Ratification number:59975039).The first,the article studied the tribological effect of several kinds of lubrication additives by single-phase,two-phase and three-phase mixture by four-ball machine. The article studied the effect of the mixture ratio and the additive concentration on tribological effect-antifriction,wear-resisting and bearing capacity. The second,on the base of this,two kinds of lubrication additives ES12 and ESM122 were elected out. The self-compensation repairing effect,the tribological effect and the use in four end oils were studied. IR spectrum of the self-compensation repairing organic film was also studied.The additives ES12 and ESM122 produced negative abrasion and excellent self-compensation repairing effect and excellent tribological effect for 45# steel\45# steel and 45# steel\aluminum bronze. Bearing capacity increased by 66.7% and 88.9%,the friction coefficient decreased by 71.0% and 83.9% and the coincide time decreased by 80.0% and 40.0% for 45#steel\45 steel pairs in N46 hydraulic oil. Bearing capacity increased by 87.5% and 112.5%,both of the friction coefficient decreased by 86.2%,both of the coincide time decreased by 66.7% for 45# steel\aluminum bronze in N46 hydraulic oil.The additives ES12 and ESM122 produced excellent self-compensation repairing effect and excellent bearing capacity in four end oils. The abrasionmass of the rubbing pairs was negative for 45# steel\45# steel and 45# steel\aluminum bronze lubricated by them in four end oils and excellent self-compensation repairing effect was aquired. Bearing capacity increased by 109.6% and 100.0% in N32 touping oil,and both by 26.0% in wolunwogan oil,and by 65.0% and 73.0% in industry gear oil,and by 159.4% and 170.8% in N32 machine oil.IR spectrum proved that 45# steel friction surface produced self-compensation repairing mixture film of polymerization ester and iron soap,and aluminum bronze friction surface produced the same film of polymerization ester and bronze soap by ESI2;45# steel and aluminum bronze friction surface produced the same film of polymerization ester,but iron soap and bronze soap were not found by ESM122. Because self-compensation repairing film was produced more and more and was rubbing out more and more by friction,abrasion only occured in the self-compensation repairing film and negative abrasion was produced when the film producing abrasion speed was more than abrasion speed.
