Bridged polynuclear structure exists widely in the active sites of the metalloprotein and metalloenzyme in organisms that makes a great impact on their physiology and catalysis.The design and synthesis of novel functional coordination compounds with antitumor activity or high catalytic activity remain an elusive scientific challenge in the fields of coordination chemistry and medicinal chemistry. In this dissertation,the synthesis,crystal structure,DNA binding activities,antitumor activities and catalytic activities of oxamido-bridged polynuclear complexes have been studied in-depthly.This dissertation consists of three sections as follows:1,Two novel dissymmetrical oxamide ligands,H2dmheox and H3dmoxba,have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis,IR,1H NMR.Ten metal complexes:[Cu(bpy)2(CH3OH)]·(pic)2(1),[Cu(Me2bpy)2(H2O)]·(pic)2(2), [Cu2(oxpn)(pic)2(CH3OH)2](3),[Cu2(oxpn)(bpy)(pic)(H2O)]·(pic)(4), [Cu2(oxpn)(Me2bpy)(pic)]·(pic)(5),[Cu4(dmoxba)2(bpy)2]·(ClO4)2(6), [Cu4(dmoxba)2(phen)2]·(NO3)2·(CH3OH)2(7),[Cu4(dmoxba)2(Me2bpy)2]·(ClO4)2(8), [Cu(H2oxen)Cu(oxen)]n·nClO4(9) and[Cu2(dmeox)μ1,1-N3]n(10),have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction,elemental analysis, IR spectra and UV-vis spectra.2,Most of complexes display significant antibacterial activities against Bacillus Subtilis,Es cherichia Coli and Stap hylococcus Aureus.Meanwhile,comparative antitumour activities of complexes were tested by SRB methods.The results show that the inhibitory ratios of complex(9) against the tested SMMC-7721 and A549 tumor cells were higher than others.Furthermore,we investigate the interactions of complexes with herring sperm DNA(HS-DNA).The interactions between complexes with HS-DNA have been studied by UV absorption titration,fluorescence titration, electrochemical techniques and viscosity measurements.The results show that most of the complexes bind to HS-DNA via intercalative mode.3,Coordination polymers with coordinated water molecules used as the mimics of hydrolase have been studied respectively in catalyzing the phosphatic diester hydrolysis.The results show that the BNPP hydrolysis catalyzed by the coordination polymer obey the mechanism of the metal-ion coordination effect.Furthermore,the model of coordination polymer catalyzing BNPP was built primarily.
