The literature investigation and study means that Associating Polymer Solution (APS) has better viscoelasticity than HPAM. Because the viscoelasticity of polymer solution may enhance oil displacement efficiency, in order to study the viscoelasticity of APS in porous medium and the relationship between it and displacement efficiency under actual reservoir, this paper studies the viscoelasticity and rheological properties of APS and HPAM solution in the rheometer and the porous medium mainly by experiment means, and studies the action of the viscoelasticity of APS on displacement efficiency. This research can offer theory and experiment foundation for the designed scheme of associating polymer driving oil and on-the-spot application.With different comprehensions to the viscoelasticity of polymer solution in chemistry driving oil area of technology, through the massive literature investigation and study it is thought that the action between molecular chains is the basic reason which the viscoelasticity of polymer solution produces. Through the research on the viscoelasticity of APS in this article, it is further confirmed that this kind of solution viscoelasticity causes mainly by the associating action between molecular chains. The elasticity of APS frequently displays tensile deformation and the restoration of the association between super-molecular aggregates and itself which produces because of associating action in solution. The elasticity which produces because of associating action between molecular chains obvious is bigger than the one which produces because of van der Waals action between molecular chains.In the foundation of others studying rheological properties and viscoelasticity of polymer solution in porous medium, it has been proposed theoretically that the method to determine the rheological properties and viscoelasticity of polymer solution in porous medium, that the rheological properties of polymer solution in porous medium is researched by which the resistance factor varies with seeping velocity, and that using the elasticity effect coefficient, the viscous resistance factor and the elastico resistance factor to denote the viscoelasticity of polymer solution in porous medium.The research on viscoelasticity and rheological properties of APS in porous medium indicates: When the shear rate quite is low, the viscous resistance factor of APS unceasingly reduces along with the increase of shear rate, within a definite shear rate the elastico resistance factor unceasingly strengthens; In porous medium, CAC is a borderline of APS with elasticity or not, which is consistent with the experiment result in rheometer, moreover above CAC the associative polymer solution has displayed similarly rheological rule in the rheometer and the porous medium, which explains that the viscous-elastico determination...
