As the most important gathering regions of mankind, cities are the chief regions that mankind is verifying the sustainable development theories and achieving the sustainable development objectives. Cities are also the practical and research realms that have the most challenge meaning. Today in the world, urbanization is one of the most important socio-economic phenomenon. In the last 20 years, because of the development of the productivity and the growth of the population, the conflict between person and nature has turned worse. Especially the hydrology and ecosystem problems appeared in city regions have turned more and more outstanding. The urbanized regions exist some hydrology ecosystem problems wide spread, such as pumping groundwater exceedingly, land sinking cracking, rain flood disaster, the serious pollution of surface water, etc. Urbanization interferes strongly the safety that the environment resided by the person. And it causes the water environment to become worse, hurts the sustainable development of the city civilization. Therefore, it is more important to put forward to research the influence of the hydrology ecosystem system and countermeasures for the sustainable water usage in cities, and to improve the environment resided by people in urbanization areas.After fully summary of the past study results about the hydrology ecosystem problems, the paper analyzes systematically the basic characteristic of common hydrology ecosystem problems that the urbanized regions are facing. It also analyzes the function mechanism to the hydrology ecosystem system that urbanization causes. It puts forward the analysis theories by orders toward urbanization influence to hydrology ecosystem system, and combines the research with xi'an city. During the study, actual investigation data contrast, theories analyze, computerized simulation and example verification combine together, etc. These methods are adopted. The theories combine the reality, analyzes problems combine examples, and then it gives a few countermeasures finally.Based on the former' work, this paper puts forward the new concept of the city hydrology ecosystem system. Namely, the city hydrology ecosystem system is made up of the city hydrology system and the ecosystem system in which people is the center. This paper thinks the production and the life activity of the city residents affects the city hydrology ecosystem system in different way. But a great deal of artificial technique material decides and effects the structure and the function of the hydrology ecosystem system in cities. As a result, the system more shows regulating by its own, the maintaining ability by itself is very weak, theindependence is bad, the dependence is strong.The paper summarizes systematically the influence function to hydrology ecosystem system from urbanization, and gets that the common characteristics are the likeness of the function methods and the synchronization of the function time and the extensive of the deep, the function scope of the function degree and the function method of diversity, the interference function of dual nature, the small dimensions of the interference activities and big dimensions of the function results.It analyzes the interference function that the urbanization leads to surface run off processes, rivers hydrology ecosystem process, the groundwater environment variety and ecosystem variety in which people are in center. It reaches a conclusion that the main reasons of keeping city hydrology ecosystem environment worse are over pumping water resources and unfit management system of the low processing rate of living waste water.Using the global view and methodologies of applied contemporary science, It puts forward the city hydrology ecosystem system's affect which has the preface analysis theories and methods, and be the solid example to carry on the research with Xi'an City. Using an analysis method to analyze the city to decline the path of year of sequences of water and main rivers to flow the periodic characteristic of the sequences. Making use of an analysis method and faintnesses gathers a method to decline the sequences of water to Xi'an, the river path flowed the sequences to carry on the trend and mutations analysis, the trend analysis includes the groundwater fluid matter time sequences. As a result, it expresses that the city of Xi'an declines sequence of water and the existence many time dimensions periods of the main river hydrology sequences. The main rivers paths flowed the sequences and went into the path of Wei River to flow the sequences to appear the trend varieties and the mutation ages successively in past 60 yearses, including the trend varieties of the groundwater fluid matter time sequence, it explains that the city turns to have already brought about deep influence on hydrology ecosystem system of Xi'an City.It probes into the basic characteristics of the relationship between water and city persons, aims at the widespread existing hydrology and ecosystem problems in urbanized regions and the city residents' environmental protection concepts. Finally, it calls on to control the city hydrology ecosystem system, achieve the sustainable development of socio-economic and water resource, create more fine living space for the city residents.
