In this reseaich report, deinking pulp (DIP), the branch project of two hundred thousands tonnes light weight coated paper (LWC, OptiConcept Paper Machine 8) project, were analyzed and studied in detailed according to actual situation of YueYang PaperMaking Share Limited Corporation, TaiGe Forest and Paper Group Limited Cooperation.Brief introductions of OptiConcept PM8 project were given in this research report, and some cases of deinking line on national and overseas were analyzed.As a clue of deinking flow line, the problems of DIP process that should be payed more attention were analyzed in detail. The key emphases that should be optimized after start-up of dip line were reasoning and demonstrating respectively.The DIP line of YueYang PaperMaking Share Limited Corporation is the first DIP line of Metso Paper in China, it is also the only one to produc DIP for LWC in China, so more attentions were paid to DIP for LWC. The running stability of dip line has a great significance for produce high quality LWC by OptiConcept PM8, it is also a big challenge for us at the same time.Through nearly two years' hard working on running of dip line, many investigations and studies were done by Post-doctoral Working Station,Technology Center and DIP workshop. Now its running is smooth and stabile.Production amounts of DIP for Newsprint had reached average 440 tons per day, far more than designed capacity of 320 tons per day. Production of DIP for LWC up to grade was also successful and a lot of praise were given by customers.Because of instability and poor quality of American's waste raw materials, there are dirt and ink spots problems now exist in final product and sometimes variation of brightness may be encountered when produce DIP for LWC. How to solve these two detrimental effects on LWC's quality are the farther problems that we should be considering and solving.
