Intelligent Decision Support Systems IDSS is a new kind of information system that introduced artificial intelligence into decision support system. By means of information technology, with application of manage science, computer science and theories and ways of other relative subject, it is an intelligent man-interface information system. To deal with half-construct or non-construct problems, it helps man making decision by ways of providing background material, helping highlight question, establishing and modifying model to perfect, listing likelihood scheme, processing analysis and contrast.Based on the describing and analyzing of IDSS's fundamental concept, developing history and nowadays research level this dissertation studied and developed an Integrated Drilling Intelligent Decision Support System IDIDSS to meet the development trend of integrated computer software. The innovation of this paper concludes four sections. Firstly, the integrated drilling intelligent support system is designed from various spaces such as structure, composition, environment etc and a synthetical & integrated design opinion of multi-base, multi-agent, multi-field expert and near or far cooperation work is provided. Secondly, it emphasizes the combination of information technology with drilling engineering and the establishment and application of intelligent models to solve the non-structure drilling engineering problems. In the course, corresponding intelligent model and intelligent reasoning model areestablished, at the time it achieves the aim of model sharing by managing model with model base. Thirdly, it changes the traditional opinion of closely developing & using large and integrated software in single computer and sets up a cooperation work model and an open information platform on witch and based on computer networks different experts or expert groups from different regions can work together. Fourthly, a practical IDIDSS software system is developed and had been used in oil-field. Involving these innovations, the main contents of this dissertation are as follows:1. According to the basic framework of IDSS, thinking of the particularity of drilling engineering, this dissertation brings forward that IDIDSS is consisted of nine main parts: data acquisition, real-time monitor and control of well-site drilling, data transmission, data management, engineering calculation, engineering design, decision support, statistics analyzing, production management. In which, the key point of engineering calculation, engineering design and decision support is establishment of model. Integrated management of the data collected and the model established is working base of the system.2. Starting from the well-site drilling practice, beginning with the studying of the decision support procession and guided by information theory, decision making methodology, artificial intelligence and computer science, this dissertation abstracted an intelligent model which can denote the decision making method and requirement of drilling engineering by ways of analyzing the feature, requirement, process and method of drilling engineering decision making. Then, by using of workflow technology and object-oriented Internet-Net technology, it systematically analyzed and described the multi-database and multi-model cooperative decision support model.3. Beginning with the implement situation of task, this dissertation studied and analyzed the key technical problems of IDIDSS, i.e. establishment of intelligent model, decision making reasoning model, database and it's management system. The dissertation respectively established multi-fact risk evaluation model, fuzzy evaluation model, artificial neural network model and expert model which based on knowledge and cases, which can be used in drilling engineering such as risk evaluation, judging bit, prospecting drilling speed and diagnosing drilling accidents.
