Lacking system and deep degree research of virus ecology, especially in the field of the ecological behavior and environmental effects of plant viruses in the combined-pollution water body having not carried out study in the world today, the main aim of this dissertation is to make clear of viruses specially plant viruses survivals removal and inactivation mechanism in the combined pollution water body, and also develop to study some decisive problems which exsit in the current water body environment virology. We get some creative results and views, primarily include as following:1. The enteric virus and plant virus levels in the Fuzhou area of Min River water were monitored and also the health dangerous degree of the microbes in the riverwater was estimated.1.1. The method of a simple, convenience, low cost, fleetness, suitable for use scope widely, high recovered rate of concentration of viruses from water was established.1. 2. The method of concentration viruses from water body was to adopt the way of throwing clay of Kaolin sodium in water sample in advance in order to increase the ability of viruses precipitation because of their adsorption to the clay. Then choose the good quality flocculating agent of poly chlorination aluminum to precipitate the suspend solid of kaolin sodium. This concentration method has the ability of recovery viruses from different water quality conditions more than 85% of recovery rate to PVb TMV and the phage of Ecoli, and has a extensive applicability.1.3. In the upper stream of the west area water factory established the check section, and in the liberation bridge^ in the forth river gate> the site of Kuiqi established the three contaminative sections, and also establish the wearing section in Mawei respectively. From the November of 1998 to April 2000, at above 5 sites to fetch water samples 18 times, total 90 water samples. Analyed the levels of plant virus and enteric virus in the river water and also the water quality of the physics and chemistry index sign and living creature index sign. The separated rate of enteric viruses from water was 71. 7% in the 90 water samples. The average levels of enteric viruses in the positive samples were 5. 326pfu/l, the separated rate of plant viruses in these water samples were 32.2%, and has the meanconcentration of viruses 0. 3006 spots/1.1. 4. Among the five water samples sites, the three contaminative control sections have higher virus levels and positive rate than the check and wearing section sites. This is to say, the levels of enteric viruses in the Min River were direct relation to the emission of the life sludge from Fuzhou inland rivers. The engineering of drawing outside clear water to wash the inland sewage also increase the degree of biological pollution of Min River. The risk degree of the health hygiene microbiology of the drinking water is also increase greatly. There are some linear functions between the separated viruses levels and water quality of the physical, chemical and biological factors in different water sample sites. We can use these linear functions to calculate the virus pollution levels in the Min River water.1. 5. Most of the separated viruses are belonging to the enteroviruses, some are hepatitis A virus and rotavirus, and some others have unusual shapes questionable virus particulates according to observe of the electricity microscope.2. Viruses survival time study in the fresh water bodyThe pattern of the animal virus of the PV,, plant virus TMV and the phage of infection bacteroides fragilis (B. fp) in different water body (distilled water, Min River water, drinking water, life sewage and sterile sewage water used film) at different temperature (low, room and medium temperature) were studied . The results show that the TMV and B. fp can survival longer time in any water body and at all conditions of temperature compared to the PV,. Both viruses have low inactivation rate.
