Core Ph05, WP7 and CSH1, separately retrieved from the Kuroshio source region, the core area of the Western Pacific Warm Pool(WPWP) and the Okinawa Trough, were analysed on planktonic foraminiferal faunas, granularity and minerals, carbonate contents, and organic carbon contents, to fill up the vacuum on the paleoenvironment research in the Kuroshio source region, further improve understands on the variation of the Kuroshio current system and its driving mechanism, and clarify the relationship between the Kuroshio current system and the low-latitude tropical area(WPWP). Combined with the published data of core WP3 and DGKS9603, paleoenvironment records in the Kuroshio current system area and the WPWP during the last Pleistocene were discussed. The long-period ENSO-like variations of the upper water structure in the Kuroshio source area and the WPWP had great impacts on the planktonic foraminiferal faunas and the productivity variations. Variation of the productivity, synchronous with the variation of the CO2 record in Antarctic Vostok ice core, lead several thousand years to the variation of the global ice volume, meaning the"biological pump"process in the tropical ocean might dominantly modulate the CO2 content in the atmosphere and further control the global climate variation via this mechanism. The result is well agreed with tropical region driving model of the global climate system in the recent years.Winter SSTs in the Kuroshio source region and the WPWP were controlled by the glacial-interglacial cycles, while the SSTs in winter mainly influenced by variations of solar radiation in the tropical area. Variation of the winter monsoon intensity, aroused by the solar radiation change, was the dominator of the silt fraction...
